With all these different activities, varieties of landscapes, rich culture and gastronomy we promise you this will be a journey you will never forget.

Day 1: Arrival to Zagreb

Arrival to Zagreb and transfer to your place of accommodation. In the evening we will meet for a welcome drink to get to know each other and talk about our upcoming adventure.

Zagreb is a lively city with many interesting places to visit, nice bars, restaurants and museums. If you have time we suggest you arrive a day or two earlier to explore it on your own. Feel free to contact us for advice and travel arrangements.

Night: 3* hotel in Zagreb

Day 2: Mreznica River Canyon Kayaking

After a good night's rest we start our day with our first activity heading south to explore the stunning nature of continental Croatia. The upper section of Mreznica River hides a stunning canyon which we will be able to see from the best possible perspective - paddling in a kayak.

Due to its beauty and diversity, the Mreznica area will soon be categorized as a Nature Park. We use 2-person inflatable boats that are easy and safe to navigate. There will have couple of  short breaks during the way and maybe you can use the opportunity and jump off the waterfalls if you feel adventurous enough. After the trip we will head to Plitvice Lakes National Park surroundings where we will settle in one of the villages, feel the calmness of the Croatian countryside and prepare for the next day.

(Please note that in case of high water levels we use rafting boats.)

Night: 3* guesthouse in Plitvice National Park area

Day 3: Walking in Plitvice Lakes National Park

We will not go too far, just a short drive to the oldest Croatian National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sequence of 16 turquoise lakes linked together with beautiful waterfalls and travertine pools are really beautiful as in the photos, even more. The lakes are surrounded by beech and pine forests and are home to extensive wildlife. We will walk by the lakes, pass the waterfalls and the trails will occasionally lead us up to an amazing viewpoints, where you will be able to admire the complete scenary of this amazing natural attraction.

Further, we continue to one of the coastal towns situated at the bottom of majestic Velebit mountain. We will spend the night there and enjoy the special energy that the fusion between the mountain and the sea creates.

Night: 3* guesthouse in Starigrad or surroundings

Day 4: Hiking in Paklenica National Park. Optional Rock Climbing.

Paklenica National Park encompasses one of the most beautiful parts of Velebit Mountain – the small and the big Paklenica canyons and their surrounding area. We will hike through the big canyon (Velika Paklenica) and make our way to one of the nicest huts in the canyon.

Apart from being a paradise for hikers, Paklenica is a worldwide known climbing destination due to its amazing rock formations. If you prefer, you can also decide to for rock climbing instead of hiking (optional*).

Night: 3* guesthouse in Starigrad or surroundings

Day 5: Cycling in Krka River National Park

With its seven travertine waterfalls and total drop of 242 m, the Krka River is one of the most beautiful natural and karst phenomenons in Croatia. It has been protected as a National Park due to its very rich and diverse natural and animal life, with numerous endemic, rare and threatened species. The main attractions are the big Skradinski Buk waterfall, the small island of Visovac with a franciscan monastery and the Roski waterfall. We will explore the area on a bike, which is the best and time saving way to see all the beauties that can be found along Krka's shores.

After the trip we will head towards Trogir, an authentic medieval coastal town with a historical core proclaimed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. You will have the evening for yourself to either to walk around it's narrow streets, have a drink on one of the lovely terraces or just visit the market.

Night: 3* hotel inTrogir

Day 6: Guided Split Tour, Oyster Farm Visit in Ston

Not far from Trogir, situated is famous town Split with it's imposing Roman ruin – the Diocletian's Palace. We will leave you in the hands of a certified city guide who will tell you all about the rich and interesting history dating back to the 4th century. After the tour and some free time in Split, we continue down south to the Peljesac Penninsula.

The charming town of Ston on Peljesac and its impressive stone walls are our base for the short boat trip to one of the oyster farms. The area is famous for growing oysters and mussels so it's a good place to try this specialty or at least learn more about this local tradition.

And last but not the least, we arrive to Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will settle in one of the surrounding villages for two nights.

Night: 3* guesthouse in a village near Dubrovnik

Day 7: Sea Kayaking Elafiti Islands, Dubrovnik

Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan are 3 inhabited islands of the Elafiti archipelago not far from Dubrovnik. Depending on the weather and time, we will choose one of them as our base for sea kayaking along the shores and amazing cliffs. Since this south part of the Adriatic sea is specially blue and clean, you will probably not be able to resist and take a swim. The smell of pine trees, charming island villages with beautiful stone houses and colorful gardens are also the highlights of this trip.

We will spend the evening in Dubrovnik where you will get the chance to walk along its famous promenade Stradun, admire the mighty walls and enjoy the mediterranean atmosphere. To celebrate our adventure we will have a final dinner together and exchange experiences before saying goodbye to each other.

Night: 3* guesthouse in a village near Dubrovnik

Day 8: Departure

On the day of departure, we will transfer you to the airport, bus station or your next hotel.

If you decide to prolong your stay in Dubrovnik we recommend you to extend your stay for a few days on your own. There are definitely many things to see and visit (Dubrovnik walls walk, visit of Lokrum Island Reserve, cable car to Srd Mountain, nearby Montenegro...) and it's worth staying.
